ABC Dry Chemical
Multi-purpose extinguisher effective on Class A, B, and C fires. Most common type for general use.

6-Year Maintenance Includes:
- Complete discharge of extinguisher
- Remove valve and internal parts

NFPA 10 Placement Requirements
Fire extinguishers must be located so that the travel distance to reach one does not exceed the maximum specified by NFPA 10. Proper placement ensures quick access during an emergency.

Mounting Requirements
- Top of extinguisher max 5 ft from floor (≤40 lbs)
- Top of extinguisher max 3.5 ft from floor (>40 lbs)
- Bottom at least 4 inches above floor
- Clearly visible and accessible
- Not blocked by equipment or storage
- Signage if not immediately visible
