Return Policy

Guspora, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") facilitates equipment returns in accordance with manufacturer policies. As an authorized distributor for multiple fire protection equipment manufacturers, return eligibility and procedures vary by product line.

All returns require prior authorization. Contact us before returning any equipment.

1. General Return Policy

The following general policies apply to all equipment returns:

  • Prior Authorization Required: All returns must be authorized in advance. Contact us at (888) 314-3963 or support@guspora.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Original Packaging: Returns must be in original, unopened packaging with all components, documentation, and accessories included.
  • Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of 15-25% may apply depending on the manufacturer and product type.
  • Inspection: All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt. Refunds may be reduced or denied for items not in resalable condition.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Custom or Fabricated Equipment: Custom-built hoods, ductwork, curbs, and any made-to-order items
  • Installed Equipment: Any equipment that has been installed, mounted, or connected to building systems
  • Used or Opened Equipment: Items that show signs of use, testing, or have broken seals
  • Fire Suppression Agents: Wet chemical, dry chemical, clean agents, CO2, and other suppression agents once shipped
  • Hazardous Materials: Items classified as hazardous that cannot be safely returned
  • Special Orders: Items ordered specifically for your project that are not stock items
  • Opened Nozzles or Fusible Links: Detection components or nozzles with broken packaging

3. Manufacturer-Specific Policies

CaptiveAire Systems

  • Final Sale Items: Hoods, curbs, ductwork, and custom items are final sale — no returns accepted
  • RMA Required: All returns require a pre-authorized Return Merchandise Authorization
  • Condition: Items must be 100% complete in original packaging
  • Shipping: Customer pays all return freight costs

  • Return Window: Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery
  • Restocking Fee: 15% restocking fee on non-defective returns
  • Shipping: Customer pays return shipping costs

Buckeye Fire Equipment

  • Distributor Returns: Contact Guspora directly to initiate a return
  • Authorization: All returns require prior authorization from our team
  • Condition: Items must be unused and in original packaging

4. Defective Equipment & Warranty Claims

Defective equipment is handled separately from standard returns through manufacturer warranty programs:

  • Report Promptly: Report defects within 7 days of discovery
  • Documentation: Provide photos, serial numbers, and a description of the defect
  • Warranty Process: We will coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf
  • Replacement or Repair: Defective items may be replaced, repaired, or credited at the manufacturer's discretion
  • Shipping: Shipping for warranty claims is typically covered by the manufacturer

5. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Call (888) 314-3963 or email support@guspora.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive RMA: If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number and return instructions
  3. Package Securely: Pack items securely in original packaging with all components included
  4. Ship with Tracking: Ship the return using a carrier with tracking and insurance
  5. Await Processing: Returns are processed within 5-7 business days of receipt

Include your RMA number on all packages. Returns without an RMA may be refused or delayed.

6. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Inspection Period: Items are inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt
  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after inspection
  • Credit Card Refunds: Credit card refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear on your statement
  • Deductions: Restocking fees and original shipping costs (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund
