Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Guspora platform operated by Ferguson Fire Protection, LLC. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. General Conduct

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful, ethical, and professional manner consistent with the standards of the inspection and compliance industries. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

2.1 Data Misuse

  • Browse, search, scrape, or harvest deficiency data you are not approved to access
  • Use the Platform as a lead generation tool, bid board, or job solicitation service
  • Export, download, or copy Platform data for use in competing products or services
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Access another user's account without authorization
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other tenants in the multi-tenant environment

2.2 Fraudulent Activity

  • Submit falsified, misleading, or fabricated inspection reports
  • Misrepresent credentials, license status, or certifications
  • Submit fraudulent declined-service reports to avoid submission fees
  • Manipulate evidence metadata (GPS, timestamps, device identifiers)
  • Impersonate another user, inspector, AHJ official, or company
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans

2.3 System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems, databases, or infrastructure
  • Perform unauthorized network scanning, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code into the Platform
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, authorization, or tenant isolation controls
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Platform without written permission
  • Overload the Platform with excessive API requests or denial-of-service attacks
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform

2.4 Content Violations

  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the Platform to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
  • Post false or misleading reviews or ratings of service providers

2.5 Tracking Device Misuse

  • Install Guspora Track GPS/BLE devices on vehicles, equipment, or assets you do not own or control without the express written consent of the owner
  • Use tracking data for stalking, harassment, surveillance of individuals, or any unlawful purpose
  • Share tracking data with unauthorized third parties

3. API Usage

If you access the Platform via API:

  • You must authenticate all API requests with valid credentials
  • Rate limits apply as published in the API documentation
  • You may not share API keys or access tokens
  • API access is for your own legitimate business use only
  • Bulk data exports via API require written authorization

4. Multi-Tenant Responsibilities

The Platform operates as a multi-tenant system. Each tenant's data is isolated. You agree to:

  • Never attempt to access data belonging to another tenant
  • Report any suspected cross-tenant data exposure immediately
  • Not attempt to identify or enumerate other tenants on the Platform
  • Maintain the security of your own account credentials

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform, including its design, features, workflows, code, documentation, and AI models, is the intellectual property of Ferguson Fire Protection, LLC
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from Platform content
  • Help documentation, knowledge base articles, and AI assistant outputs are proprietary and subject to the Platform Confidentiality Agreement
  • The Guspora name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Ferguson Fire Protection, LLC

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Written warning
  • Temporary suspension of account access
  • Permanent termination of account without refund
  • Removal of content or data
  • Reporting to relevant authorities (AHJs, law enforcement, licensing boards)
  • Legal action for damages

For severe violations (including fraud, data theft, credential misrepresentation, or unlawful tracking), we may take immediate action without prior warning.

8. Modifications

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
